My yoga journey started about 6 years ago when I drifted to yoga on and off to balance my weight training and running. But I kept coming back to it for that ‘post-yoga’ feeling. For me that was feeling strong, balanced and having for once quieted my busy mind.

At that point of my life, I started to get this feeling of loneliness and being lost, even though nothing was really wrong, in fact, my life was going pretty good to the outsider’s view. However, somewhere along the way of getting business degrees and trying to work my way up the corporate ladder, I had lost sight of who I am, what actually brings me joy, and what I wanted to do with my life. 

Doing a yoga teacher training in Bali was something I had always wanted to do to deepen my own yoga practice. But that really seemed like a far-away dream. When a friend told me that she had joined a life-changing yoga teacher training online, I jumped at the opportunity to join and completed my 200h vinyasa teacher training. I also discovered a passion that I didn't know I had - teaching. 

Yoga has really transformed my life, especially my mental health. I’ve struggled with stress, anxiety, disordered eating, and low self-esteem for as long as I can remember. Yoga has really changed my relationship with myself. It’s changed the way I view the myself, others, and the world. Most importantly, it’s brought me back to my authentic self, helped me find more joy, and enabled me to start living my life fully again. 

And now it’s my turn to pay that forward and help you increase your holistic wellbeing through the tools and wisdom that yoga has to offer.
